How to create amazing waterfall photographs
When the situation challenges you, just look around. The answer is usually just right in front of you. Here’s what I did:
- Set the camera to a slow shutter speed.
- Put the camera on a stable base (I used the railing)
- Take a few pictures
- Enjoy the results
I used the Fujifilm X-E2. Click here for my hands on review of this awesome little camera.
No tripod? Get Creative!
You may only have a limited area that you can focus but you can still take beautiful pictures. Take a look at some of the pictures I got.

Hey Brent,
Thanks for the interesting tips. You’re photography courses and website have inspired me significantly to take my photography to the next level from a mere beginner. I live in Brighton in the UK so the senes are not nearly on par with that of Australia! There is a lot of rain here with dense could cover during the winter seasons. However, with hard work and comitment I hope to get my photgraphy noticed enough to make a trip to Australia a reality. I really enjoy your approach to teaching. A breath of fresh air from others on the web, as it’s always practical, stimulating and inspiring! I will be following your website regularly from now on! Thanks Brent. Edward.
