Have you ever been in a situation where the light is not perfect?

It’s part of a photographer’s life that not everything is perfect on ever shoot. Let’s take this instance where I was at a beautiful waterfall in New Zealand. Here’s what I did…

Get nice, silky smooth waterfall photos!

If it’s not the ideal conditions to photographs waterfalls, meaning it’s not overcast because that’s the best time to photograph a waterfall, you gotta get here before dawn. Before the sun rises. The reason for that is you can get even light all over the waterfall and you can use the slow shutter speed so you can get the nice, silky smooth water flowing. Again, it’s having:

  • Even light
  • Slower shutter speed

Here are some of the results!
