Christmas came early for us at Capture Imaging Photography in Anna Bay, Port Stephens.

Its been an unbelievably great year in our portrait photography business and to win this professional portrait photography award at the end of the year is a dream come true. The winners of The Edge Photo Imaging Photography Excellence Awards for 2010 were announced just before Christmas, and to my surprise I won the Portrait Photography Open category with my underwater art image….below.

This underwater image was taken at the end of last summer (March 2010) at our studio pool in Anna bay. Laura is a professional model from Brisbane, who had seen some of my underwater photography art, and specially travelled to Port Stephens to shoot with me. This was the 2nd time we have worked together.
